Concepcion, Tarlac announced 24 hours total lock-down | Taga Tarlac Update

24 hours total lock-down in Concepcion, Tarlac, Mayor Lacson said in his facebook live, late afternoon today, May 20.



After a month with no reported positive case in Concepcion town (except to *TP722 who used the address in Cafe, Concepcion, originally from Pampanga.) The Department of Health released five (5) new test results today, May 20 in the province of Tarlac. One out of five new positive case from the province is from Santiago, Concepcion, Tarlac.

A 65 year-old male is asymptomatic or it has no symptoms of the deadly virus COVID-19. He was swabbed on May 13 as part of the Random PCR test. He will be quarantined at the NGAC New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac.

Meanwhile, Mayor Andy Lacson together with other government officials announced on his facebook live session this late afternoon that the town of Concepcion will be 24 hours lock-down starting at 8:00 pm. According to Mayor Lacson, all establishments except hospitals and drug stores will be temporary closed to the public and to disinfect the area to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 and to easily find the local transmission.

All travel and quarantine passes issued by the local government of Concepcion also temporary invalid for 24 hours, and will be effective again on Friday, May 22.

Mayor Lacson remind the public to stay safe and follow the protocols from the government and authorities as he ended the live session.

Today is the fifth day of General Community Quarantine in the province of Tarlac.
