By: Maria Era Cecilia Nunag Farmers Love Agri Farm or Sunflower Farm the famous flower farm in Tarlac City will be open starting tomorrow, yes you read that right! Farmers Love Agri Farm temporary closed this past few months cause of traffic in SCTEX, but as the most requested by netizen to open this farm. The owner promises to open the farm as soon as possible and they have make some way to not cause traffic. Tomorrow, November 24, 2018 the soft opening of the farm and on November 26 is the grand opening! Don't miss out the summer in Ber months in Tarlac City! They have changed the entrance fee or registration fee but it's affordable, for the sake of the beautiful scenery they will make sure that your profile picture is lit as the sunflower farm. ~wink~

DILG awards seal of good governance to Tarlac, 6 towns

The Department of Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) awarded Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) to the Tarlac Provincial Government, together with the province’s 6 towns, at the Manila Hotel last Wednesday. By: Nelson Bolos Central Luzon News Center The 6 towns who were conferred the “much coveted” SGLG are Capas, Moncada, Ramos, Pura, Victoria and Gerona. This year’s awarding of ‘seal of excellence’ was made more significant as the DILG ‘heightened’ the evaluation criteria. From “4+1”, or passing 4 Core Areas plus 1 among 3 other criteria, to “7 all-in”. The 7 core areas hurdled by LGUs this year are: Financial Administration; Disaster Preparedness; Social Protection; Peace and Order; Business Friendliness and Competitiveness; Environmental Protection; and Tourism Culture and the Arts. That's why when the news about the first sunflower farm in the Tarlac began circulating on social media, everyone went crazy!  How to get there: Sunflower Farm in Tarlac is located at Brgy. Mapalaciao Tarlac City (Hacienda Luisita) near SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway) roughly 3-4 hours drive from Manila. For who wants to go there, it has an entrance for only 30 pesos and you can get 1 piece of Sunflower. For commuters from Manila you may opt to ride air-conditioned bus headed to Baguio and get off at Robinsons Luisita where you could easily hire a tricycle (50-100) I think to take you to the Sunflower Farm that would take another 15-20 minutes ride.
